- 1X2
- A three‑way market where you bet on either the home team (1), a draw (X), or the away team (2) to win.
- Accumulator
- A type of parlay where multiple selections are combined, and winnings roll over from one selection to the next.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to each team, often in half‑goal increments, that removes the draw as a possible outcome.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets, managed to avoid losing more than you can afford.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes the stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate the total payout.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (win, draw, or loss) in a single wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds expressed as a fraction that shows profit relative to the stake; for example, 3/1 means you win three times your stake in profit.
- Hedge
- Placing a second bet on the opposite outcome to guarantee a profit or reduce risk on an existing wager.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet on a match after it has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission a sportsbook charges for taking a bet, reflected in the odds.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on the perceived edge and probability of winning.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, with odds shown as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Format
- The way odds are displayed, such as decimal, fractional, or moneyline formats.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be over or under a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Payout
- The total amount you receive when a bet wins, including the original stake and profit.
- Spread
- A point handicap that one team must cover for the bet to win, used to level the playing field.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a single bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an expected positive return.
